Is there short-term parking at Terminal 2? ›

This is Terminal 2's multi-storey short term car park located a 2-4 minute walk from Terminal 2 through a covered walkway. Please book early in advance to secure your space.

The quickest option are our short term car parks, which are a short stroll from the Terminal building and check-in, in both Terminals 1 and 2. The next best option is Express Red Car Park, which is on-campus, with 8,000 spaces and only a 5-minute shuttle bus trip away from the Terminal 1 and 2 buildings.

Long stay parking rates are calculated in periods of 24 hours, as opposed to short stay parking which is calculated hourly. For this reason, long stay car parks work out cheaper if you are leaving your car for a prolonged period of time. Long Stay Airport car parks often have a minimum stay of around 3 days.

The car parks entry barrier will recognise your vehicle and provide access to the designated car park up to four hours of your selected time.

Picking up passengers

If you need to pick up passengers please use our short stay multi storey car parks. These car parks are clearly signposted on approach to both Terminal 1 & Terminal 2 and hourly rates start from €3.

There are two parking areas for Terminal 2, parking area 1 is right beside the terminal and is for short term parking. For overnight parking, you have to go to parking area 2 which is beside the old hotel, then it's a short walk to the terminal entrance.

Red is closer to the terminals and therefore allows for a quicker transfer time than the blue which is some distance away. However the bus transfers are reasonably regular and are dependent in both cases. I am aware of a number of alternative private long term options outside the airport campus.

Hourly parking at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 is for visits shorter than 4 hours. Parking ramps charge $5 for the first hour and $3 for each following hour. Daily parking at Terminal 1 is $26 a day. For Terminal 2 travelers, daily parking is $36 a day at that terminal.
