Camp Colvos Canteen is the "restaurant" provider and 80% of the menu was unavailable on a Tuesday afternoon. Only thing you could get was salad, pretzels, sweet potato fries, or a falafel. I mean really, how hard is it to run to the store and get ground beef so you can at least offer your 'smash'burgers?Venue has a 3 pint max for beer orders... Really? Forget that. 18 beers on tap. After trying 2 different pints I decided to move on. I like dark beers, but the Export Stout and Brown Ale both failed to impress.

The place is quite large & great for a gathering with friends or family. And of course, the beer is amazing. I had the Rude Parrot IPA (delicious West Coast IPA) & the Hula Weizen (their summer release). Both were great but the Hula definitely stood out with its flavor. Will definitely be back here again when I’m in town!

Great local brewery. Enjoyable atmosphere, staff is Friendly. The flights are good for first timers. Definitely check this place out!

How many people are they shunning away? Their bad business decisions are their right afer all.Then I went to use the restroom. As you can see in the pictures, the man's room and the door, or lack of it, is located in direct view of the bar and people walking around. For ladies to walk to the ladies room, they have to walk pass the men room. Here is the crazy: the men's room has only an old west style swing doors about waste high and they don't even close right, so any woman, or a child, specifically your girls,.some as young as 9, 10, 11 or 12 years old are.looking directly inside the man's urinals watching grown men urinate as the pass by, or they can just stand between the bar and the entrance to the toilets and see it all inside.I was there for a party and we had at least 10 children in our group, but there were other people with their kids in the bar too. I was shocked that children were in the bar area just standing around. I thought there were restrictions of the minimum age of 21 for bar patrons?!Anyway, I am shocked at the fact the man's room had no door. I will not be suggesting for anyone to bring their kids there.

Nearly always a great time, we visit daily and have loved the service we get.The product is always excellent and if not, the crew makes it right.Lately it seems some of the partners are too focused on "other things" and consequently the service drops to a 1 star experience.Being customer focused and smiling is paramount.Please coach accordingly.

Such a great location and gathering place! 7 Seas should always be at the top of the list for Tacoma breweries!! They even have a coffee shop and restaurant with fresh local oysters!

Along with the sauces that accompany them. Some of the staff seem like nice, cool and down-to-earth people. Some seem a little immature, which I know sounds harsh, but as an adult, I appreciate when going to a restaurant if the person serving me seems at least a little able to maintain a light and friendly conversation.I really enjoyed all of the drinks I’ve tried, minus one! I go for the ciders and am usually satisfied. They also have arcade games, which is very cool! There are many to choose from.I’d give this place a 5 star review if it weren’t for the occasionally standoffish staff members - loosen up a little bit, people :) We’re not on a date, you’re just serving me a cider :)

This is a nice large brewery and taproom. There is plenty of table seating and several comfortable sofas to hang out. There is also a small arcade with games and a lot of merchandise for sale. We rented a private room for a big party and we’re able to get our beer and drinks at the bar. They allowed us to bring our own catered food even though they serve good. Highly recommended!

Delicious beers! I sampled 8 and they were all bold and flavorful. I enjoyed the sparse decor and subdued music so I could focus on conversation. The bar tender was friendly and speedy.

They no longer fill their own growlers with the cider that they sell on tap, nor will they fill the growlers with kombucha that they sell on tap. As much as I'd like to see this place succeed, I will not be coming back. If you like beer and being told that you're only allowed to buy beer, this is a good place. If you like good prices and the ability to buy what you want as a customer, this is not the place to go.

It's always a pleasure to be able to visit this wonderful centerpiece of Tacoma's Brewery District with single wood slab tables, family friendly and fun atmosphere, shuffle board, pinball, and couches! Of course outstanding beer, food, and coffee shop in a giant open air room! Great spot!

This place has been my go to lately. Friendly bar staff, food and coffee from local shops. Great beer, cider, and barley wine. Tons of history about Heidelberg Brewing. Kid and pet friendly with a large event area as well.

Decent selection of brew, limited selection of food, but a fine time out.I’m in WA for work, staying down the hill from 7 Seas, and got a decent recommendation from the hotel staff. I had to walk two blocks up a 45 degree incline to make it there, so it damn well better have been worth it.Well, they’ve got a fair selection of beer, not overwhelming but diverse. The kind staff also tipped me off to the other business under roof, an eatery offering a few options, but they recommended the burger.I ordered an Imperial Porter, which was served in a glass best described as “petite”. I made my way to the food establishment and was convinced to order a double burger (the pattys are “this thin” the salesman tells me, squeezing his fingers a millimeter apart). The beer was strong, keeping with its 9.2% ABV (that’s 18 proof to the metrics). The burger came quick, damn if it didn’t hit the spot.Finishing my beer, the staff played along with my stupid dad jokes and served me a Broken Mast (ha!) Brown Ale, this time in a proper sized glass (cause it’s only 5.1% ABU). My dinner mate then added a pretzel to our dinner options.All in all, the best option for blocks if you want beer, burgers, a great vibe and plenty of space. I was hoping to visit a different restaurant every night, but if I can’t find something good tomorrow, I’ll be back, 100%.10/10; would visit again.

Great space and amazing beers on tap. Set in the original Heidelberg brewery this brew house has beers for all tastes and a wonderful open space to gather friends. Pinball games and shuffleboard along with selected bites including smash burgers, oysters and falafel.
