Greetings
I'm looking for another overdrive to stack with my Blues driver to get more saturated sound and more versatility. Now i actually consider bying ts808 or bluesbreaker-style pedal and placing it before bd
Do you have any ideas about stacking pedals with bd 2, and what's your experience having multiple gain stages by stacking overdrives

On my board right now I've got the V2 Route 66, BD2, and Bogner Blue (big box). All of them sound great together. I've also had great luck with the Westminster Puritan and a KOT Clone. Honestly the BD2 stacks pretty well with most drive pedals.

What sound are you looking for? Do you want the Blues Driver first or second?

I think it goes pretty well with most pedals because it doesn’t have any particularly overpowering characteristics, so it’s up to you about the sound you want.

Boss SD-1 (or TS mid-humpy pedals)
Fulltone OCD
Bluesbreaker clones (Snouse!)
Klon clones

If you want a Marshally sound, the JHS Angry Charlie is thought to pair well enough with a Blues Driver that Boss and JHS produced a single pedal with both inside, the Angry Charlie.

I think I want to place bd as a second stage overdrive. I want to have more saturated overdrive sound and more push when I need it. I actually have a clean booster placed before bd and it works nice when I need more gain and volume on bd-2 but I want more complex sound
Actually, this question was born when I havent found any sound samples of bd+bluesbreaker combo and I have no idea how well these two combine upon each other. So I love blues driver sound as well as bluesbreaker alone, but I had no opportunity to combine them
So what can you say about stacking pedals youve suggested? Do you have any experience using them with bd?

I paired a Sarno Earth Drive with mine. I think it's a perfect combo.

A Tube Screamer and a BD-2 is a winning combo in my book; they stack well together and can get a very saturated tone. My board has a Way Huge Green Rhino mkIV and a Keeley Super Phat Mod as my main drive pedals.

Bluesdriver variants work just fine with the BD2. Neither of them have a ton of mid push, so you just get more saturation, with a light amount of compression.

Which order do you have? Ts into bd?

A DS-1 or an SD-1 will do what you want, and they’re cheap and built like tanks.

Damn, now I want to repurchase another Earth Drive. Liked my last one a lot, purchased a Keeley Super Phat (BD) after selling it off...

Super Hard On into a BD sounds amazing. On the flip side I have also run a BD into a bluesbreaker circuit Which sounds great. Klone into BD also sounds good but I don’t like it as much as the SHO.

I've used this pedal in combinations through the years and love it.
It's not a scooped sound, but the BD is not a mid focus, so I've found pleasure in TS9 or an EQ to add mid to it.
Also it gets forced into exaggerated clipping if driven so you can push to that threshold for some compressed sounds that are nice.

I run the TS into the BD. The TS is my primary overdrive, with the BD mostly being used for extra gain while stacking. I used to use a pair of TS based pedals, but I like the different frequency responses of the TS/BD combo.

I use a Friedman pearl drive first, then the bd followed by a mxr bad ass. Great stacking tone.

The BJ takes boosts like a champ- so many things work great onto it. Make sure you try a Klone into one as well as some of the others suggested.

I’d love to know more about how you set this up; for whatever reason I’ve never run those two together but I sure do love crushing tones.
