How many tablets do you need for the Primary Containment Facility? ›

The Blue Tablet can be found in the Alien Thermal Plant, and is used to access the Primary Containment Facility. One Blue Tablet is needed to gain entrance to the facility, and a second one is used to unlock the Moonpool room.

The Primary Containment Facility requires the Blue Tablet to unlock, which is found in the Alien Thermal Plant. An additional Blue Tablet is required to gain access to the Moonpool and subsequently the Sea Emperor.

In order to get inside of, or put fish into the Alien Containment, the player must build a Hatch on the side. The player can then enter the Alien Containment and release caught fish into it. Non-edible fish can be added through the use of their respective eggs.

To make the enzyme, first you have to get its blueprint from the sea emperor. In order to get the blueprint from the emperor, you have to access the containment facility. To access the containment facility, you need 2 blue tablets.

In total, 8 tablets are required throughout the game (2 for the Quarantine Enforcement Platform, 1 for the Disease Research Facility, 2 for the Alien Thermal Plant and 3 for each Sanctuary Cache).

The Orange Tablet is the rarest Alien Tablet. It can be found in the Deep Grand Reef Degasi Seabase on a desk. This Alien Tablet is exclusively used to access the Lost River Laboratory Cache. The Orange Tablet is craftable, after scanning it for the blueprint, but only one terminal requires the artifact.

The Lava Lakes can only be accessed via the Inactive Lava Zone, as well as meaning that only a Prawn Suit equipped with a Prawn Suit Depth Module MK2 and/or a Cyclops with a Cyclops Depth Module MK3 is able to explore it.

For multi purpose rooms this limit is 10, and for large rooms this limit is 18, where each creature takes up the same amount of space as it is wide in the inventory. For example a Peeper would take up one space and a Stalker would take up three.

Can fish reproduce in an aquarium in Subnautica? ›

NB Due to its size the regular aquarium is not rated for breeding applications, and creatures are highly unlikely to mate. Construct a full size alien containment unit for this purpose.

When breeding, keep in mind that the Alien Containment has a limit of ten creatures per aquarium. If you add more creatures after the maximum amount is reached, some fish will die to make space for the new ones. You can stack Alien Containments on top of each to increase the maximum amount of creatures allowed.

The default catch chance for the [Lv150] Sea Emperor is 0.20%. The catch chance is 0.15% on Jerry's Workshop. If the Fishing Festival is active this chance changes to 0.11%. The catch chance is 0.17% in the Oasis, which is located on The Farming Islands.

After being hatched by the player, the Sea Emperor Babies will play with their parent for a short while, before being escorted to the Arch to go through it, with each emperor teleporting to a distinct biome where they will become juveniles.

The Sea Emperor Leviathan is the largest known living Leviathan class fauna found within the crater in Subnautica. It is sapient and telepathic, but unlike most Leviathans, it is not aggressive.

But before you can meet this leviathan and free it from the facility where the Precursor Race imprisoned it, you'll have to find a way to enter the Primary Containment Facility, an Alien Base located in the Lava Lakes area. To enter the place, you'll need a Subnautica Blue Tablet to gain access.
