The driver cslammed into Ike Sims Village around 12 p.m.
CHICAGO, IL – According to WGN 9, a person driving an SUV plowed into Ike Sims Village Apartments on W Maypole Ave on Friday.
The driver went through a fence and drove across the lawn before slamming into the lobby around noon.
Rescue crews transported the driver to an area hospital. Information on their current condition is unavailable. It is unclear if anyone else was hurt.
The Chicago Police Department is investigating the incident.
